As editor of the “A Witness and A Testimony” magazine published in England from 1925 to 1971, T. Austin-Sparks wrote individual articles as well as series of messsages later published as books. This book contains a compilation of his articles from the Austin-Sparks.Net website on the topic: Church.
"What is the Church? It is Christ in living union with His own, that wheresoever two or three are gathered together in His name there He is in the midst. That is the Church. You do not build special buildings and call them 'the Church.' You do not have special organisations, religious institutions, which you call 'the Church.' Believers in living union with the risen Lord constitute the Church. This is the reality, not the figure. You do not see this Church here on the earth; it is not seen, but it is there in the unseen with God, and it is the eternal thing. There is so much disappointment in the churches, in the things seen, that you might give up in disgust, close down your work and go and do some other job; but you do not do that if you have really seen."
